Shot my "Josh Built" 6.5 creedmoor. Was very happy with the 140 grain ELD match

100 yard 3 shot group (Measured 0.498)

200 yard 5 shot group (Measured 0.910 or 0.435 MOA)

I'm gonna throw the pics on my laptop this evening and get the exact group size

They both look sub-moa to me. Heck that 200 yard group looks to be around 3/4" if I'm reading your target right... Good shootin'! thumbup

Awesome group.

Mine is the OD Green with walnut stock. My buddy Wills is behind it. They are virtually identical except I have bottom metal and he has a blind mag and the triggers are different

Here's your one ragged hole. However it's from my 7mag and handloaded 150g TTSX at 3250fps. This group measures 0.129" at 100 yards. I've duplicated it several times. Right now it's the most accurate rifle in my stable.

And for anyone who doubts the validity of these pics then pic a day and join me at the range.

You need to bump em up a hair. J/k. I wish I could still hold a rifle steady enough to shoot that good.

Stevens 200 Receiver
Criterion Match Grade Barrel
Precision ground recoil lug
20moa rail
Burris extreme rings
Burris XTRii 5-25-50 scope
Boyd's Stock that has been pillar beaded
CDI Tactical bottom metal
Rifle Basix Trigger 2lb pull

I've built a handful of these rifles now and we DONT true the receivers. Every one of those rifles have a Criterion barrel and Boyd's stock and every one of the shoots better tha.5 MOA.

Some people think Savage rifles are ugly, or cheap, or for beginners. I think there are the best rifles out there for the DIYers

What kind of rifle is the 7mag Josh? Excellent shooting regardless.
