Anyone with insight into the type of soybean seed provided by Monsanto to the NWTF? I planted them this year for the first time. They germinated well but are slower growing and blooming in earlier phases than what I'm accustomed to seeing previously with my soybeans. For only $8/bag they are still hard to beat though. The only mark on the bag was a large "A" on one side, no other labels.

Wish it was hunting season.....year round

I have noticed they were slower growing/smaller. But this was last year. I don't have any info on variety though.

I planted two acres of these soybeans this year at my house. I even when through the trouble to inoculate them. They have been planted nearly two weeks. I've been offshore since they have germinated. I have a camera on a protein feeder in the corner of this field and I'm not seeing much for growth in the pictures. I still have 9 bags of these beans left that I did not plant.

As for variety I don't know what they are. I was told they may or may not be RR beans. I planned to test on a small area before I sprayed my entire field. I payed $10 bag for mine so you got a good price. I hope they kick the growing in gear before the deer eat them up.

They're more than likely carry over seed at which point germ drops dramatically in soybeans being that it's got a high oil content.

Mike they are round up ready so don't worry about spraying them. They are browse tolerant too just slow growing and begin showing blooms early but continue putting on new growth through out blooming stages.
