Planted 10 rows of sweet corn last Wednesday and I think it will drown. June has been wet to say the least. In my area anyway.

It is a little surprising to hear that North Alabama has had little rainfall in places and there are other places in AL having record rainfall totals. My newly planted flowers are happy getting so much rain. Not sure you will get relief with tropical storms a brewin.

Just north of Samson there are some peanut fields that don't need any more rain. They are turning yellow, even some of the cotton didn't look good.

Good site to see today. Some of the corn is chuting up. I don't know how consistent it will be but hopefully enough will come up so I don't have to replant. June has been a real wash this year. I plant a good corn patch late every summer if it is somewhat wet. Heck we don't plant corn or beans until after the 4th of July for the deer. It'll come up and make if it doesn't get to dry.
