Won't be Gus, This is their "once in five year" season. They will be good this year, enough to save ole Gus's job.
Sgt. Carter. (Like a silent fart, he will just fade away) Hugh Freeze (NCAA stuff will finally get him and they will suck) Sumlin (much like ole Gus but he will again be just average)

I think I actually heard A&M AD say he expected them to win and win big and that he couldn't understand their late season collapses the last few years. Sumlin is gone, imo.
Gus better win 10 or 11 games or he's gone.
Smart probably won't get fired this year but he'll be gone next year.
Really,, every coach but Saban is probably on the clock and a really bad season could get any of them canned.

In all seriousness....
1. Sumlin 2. Jones 3. Feeze 4. Malzahn
That is a good list and batting order right there. Sumlins already on notice that things better be good quick or else. Freeze depends a lot on how happy the NCAA is with Ole Miss. We'll find out about that later.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Freeze will be there for this season. Im beating that the NCAA wont announce any findings until probably November or later. That is the smart money bet.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

No one thinks Missouri "pulls the plug" (sorry for the Micheal Sam reference) after another horrible year?? Doubt many even know the name of the coach

Let's say there are two firings in the SEC, and another 5 or 6 in the big schools. Usually it seems there are 8 to 10 moves each year.
The question is, before the AD pulls the trigger, who are they looking at to fill the void? Who are the coaches who will replace these Power 5 HCs who get the ax? Are there enough "big name big time top tier" replacements available to replace two or three in the SEC and maybe another handful elsewhere? Or enough "hot assistant up-and-comer coach!" who is at a mid-level school now?
I think Jones and Sumlin are probably goners. Gus, too, if Auburn falls on their dicks again. Does Missouri even matter?

Everyone keeps saying auburn "needs to win 10 games" Which means they upset 2 of the 4 games they are underdogs @clemson @LSU uGA Bama This doesn't consider that every single year they lose to someone they shouldn't. Chances they sweep Ole Miss, Miss St, @Ark and @A&M is slim, let's be honest Wouldn't count on a bowl win, with Gus being 1-3, and the win being a Birmingham bowl

Yes, there several issues with firing coaches. Myers/Saban have murked up the water on expectations. The media will get behind a coach, assistant or head, and they will be the greatest thing going. TODAY...TODAY, if Gus quit, who would Auburn target?? The media isn't pushing anyone as great until about Sept.
