I do. My buddy just sent me an update and since this place is dead I might as well post a few pics.

I planted about 4.5 acres of Big Fellow Beans and Corn. With the rain they are growing good but obviously need fertilizer. Hopefully my buddy up there will rectify that situation this week-end.

Also planted a 2 ac Sunflower field.

Something interesting is the plants to the far left are significantly smaller than the ones to the right. Thats because the ones to the right are in an area which I planted in Sunn Hemp last year. It seems the claim that it creates significant nutrients is right. The ones on the left are in newly turned pasture and have not yet been fertilized at all. Also the Dual Magnum pre-emerge appears to have worked well where my dumarse buddy actually got the spray. He was trying to finish up at dark and you can see all the volunteer Sunn Hemp which has come up where he missed in the south part of field.

Lastly this has been my best clover year ever.Might have something to do with the 2 tons/acre lime I put down last spring.

Thanks for the pics. How many pounds per acre are you doing with the corn mixed in with the beans?

I use one bag of beans and 7 lbs of corn. This is my second year of planting this and did not think about last years corn volunteering so corn is a little thick in places. My farm is near Ozark, which is about 20 miles ne of Dothan.

Here are a few pictures of one field me and my best friend have planted on his family farm. I have a few more fields planted but haven't seen them in a few weeks. I'm hoping when I get in from offshore those are doing well.

This picture is pretty early just after beans spouted. Iron/clay and soybeans.

A few weeks later of same field but a close up of corn. The corn was starting to put on ears when that picture was taken.

Here are a couple pictures my farmer sent me of the 5 acres of corn we planted on our Illinois farm.

Those look great. Really like the beans between the corn. Hopefully next year I will have a planter. Although broadcasting has been fine for growing deer food a field just looks so much nicer in rows.

Well its not a typical summer plot but definitely summer time food.Got some burning done this spring and a thinning going on right now.Got good/bad news yesterday. My forester was looking at an 8 acre block of pines in the north part of the property and suggested we go ahead a clear cut it and start over.He believes it was planted with very poor quality trees and it is ate up with rust, cat heads, forked trees and such and only a small percentage would every be anything other than oversize pulp wood.Hate the loss of future revenue but I have really been wanting a bedding area in that part of the farm and now I have it.

Years ago a LOT of pine seedlings were raised that came from very poor genetics. Some of the worst I have ever seen came from the old Munson Nursery (Fl State) west of Crestview. Good loblolly seedlings are worth the extra little money amount.

I planted eagle beans and lab lab the other day and caught a lot of rain right after we planted. It's up about four inches tall and looking good

5 acre field of ICPs and corn with an acre strip of Durana on the west side that is still going strong.
Two one acre fields of Alyceclover, Buckwheat and Jointvetch. Doing great.

Couple other Durana fields that are still looking good. They produce all year as long as we get the rain.

Sounds like your deer are being well fed. I had the best clover year ever this year. I guess rain helps.
