Y'all following the Oregon St. player's saga. Their ace, #1 pitcher. When he was 15 he molested a 6 year old relative. According to the published reports he molested her over a couple of years period. He pleaded guilty and has to register as a sex offender. He didn't register in Corvallis. Somehow a newspaper found out about it and debated on whether to run with it. They did and he has now voluntarily "withdrawn himself from competition". What that means as too how long, no one knows, but one thing is for sure, that will hurt him in the draft. A lot of technical questions such as, if he has to stay 500 feet from kids, are kids banned from ball parks when he pitches?

Man that's messed up. I wonder if Oregon State knew that when they signed him .I'm sure he got youthful offender but if they knew it and sighned him anyhow they deserve to lose him. Really deserve to lose him either way. Maybe he'll catch a line drive with his nose.

Yes, saw this the other night watching the game. Its unfortunate that the announcers had to cover this. Fortunately my two boys (who are normally right there watching with me) were not home and having to hear it. I can't imagine how many young folks were asking their parents what that meant after the announcers discussed it. Just not something you expect to hear while listening to a college baseball game.

With that said, OSU is the real deal. They can swing the sticks as well as they can throw it.

LSU playing really well right now. The game with State last night was a great game from a pure baseball perspective.

Looks like the SEC should get 3 teams in. Would like to see Sam Houston over FSU in that series, and will be pulling for Fullerton from out west.

LSU is one loss or two wins away from their fate. They play Oregon State who rocked them with a 13-1 decision on Monday. Corndogs need to win two to make it the finale. They tee it up at 2.

I wouldn't mind seeing an all SEC final! I don't think OSU can hang seems like they can't beat you with better athletes they just don't make any mistakes. If LSU plays error free they'll out athlete them just like they would in football.
