Reading the .300WSM load thread, someone mentioned grabbing some Hornady Superformance. I had no clue that they now offered a .300 WSM round. For the longest time, they refused to load a .300WSM because of their participation in the .300 RCM design process. Wondering if anyone has any first hand experience on game with the GMX bullets. It's the only thing they are offering in a WSM right now other than the 200 Gr which is slower than I like to shoot. I've shot their SST, BTSPs and SPs over the years and like all three in the right applications. Tell me about the GMX performance on live animals.

130gr GMX is my go to round for an ol' .270Win A-bolt. I've been really impressed with their performance and consistency for a factory round. They've taken whitetail and hogs from 10yds to 250yds and the results have been more than adequate.

Yessir! I’m always gonna shoot what makes me happy and I want everyone else to do the same! If you shoot one be proud of it and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. - SJ22
