Not necessarily with poast plus but can add. Definitely with straight clethodim. The lower the water ph the better gramanicides work.

Many of the grass herbicides recommend a crop oil adjuvant for best results. Just an FYI.
If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

Best place to buy clethodim is from Rural king, less than $50 a gallon. Yes, you will also need a surfactant. I assume you have it shipped to you? I dont see any stores in Alabama

We planted IC peas last year. They got about 3' tall and shaded the weeds out. The deer wiped them out just before we planted in the Fall. We didn't even have to spray the field. same situation for me the first year I planted them but the weeds got worse every year. This year I used a pre-emergent, prowl h2o, and so far so good
