Drove up on a group of hogs in a field this morning. They saw me just as I saw them. They tore out across the field but they were far. I throwd a couple shots at em with the AR but no dice. My brother and I decided to come sit out here this afternoon after the rain showers. He didn't even make it to the spot he wanted to sit. As he rounded a curve in the road he walked up on a big black hog walking toward him. He took a free handed shot at about 150yds. He said the hog spun and ran off into a field. He could see it running and than nothing. I feel certain he got it. Gonna go look later if the mosquitos don't carry us away.

Good job. I like to get a few hunts in myself

I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

I didn't miss this afternoon. Got in a small group after the rain stopped. Killed 2 fairly large sows and a small boar. The biggest sow had 6 lil ones inside her. Didn't guy the other one due to a double tap to the mid section. The other 4 small ones made to the tall grass and couldn't see em. So the 11,12,and13 so far this year.

Thanks guys!!! Got to stay after them hard. They are flat tearing up the south end of the farm where our rice will be next year. Luckily they are not in the part of the farm where the rice is this year. It's gonna be some rough days on the tractor when we start to work them fields up with all those big arse holes they are digging.
