Conyers does not have true Merriams. Just letting you know.

Some people don't care, and claim it anyway, but there are NO Merriams in South/Central Nebraska.

They seem to have a lot of turkeys there, but I refuse to do business with them because of their false advertisement.

Turkeys be damned.

As long as you have enough time to hunt, there are plenty of public lands in Western states to hunt and be successful. If you need to kill in 2 days and be home, go outfitter.

If you want to always win, never play anyone better than you!

Any of the places you mentioned are good hunting.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Their rio's look like hybrids from pics I've seen too

I've made 25 - 30 trips out west in merriam-rio country. Always hunt public land.... sometimes it may take a few days to put the puzzle together but we've never not killed our turkeys. That said .... I hunted with an outfitter once (vendor paid trip) and it was a good experience. Comfortable lodge vs a tent cot. Pre-scouted turkeys (three of us filled our tags before 10am the first morning) Website said $1200
