Where are the best places to launch on Logan Martin near Pell City or River side. Needs 24 hr. access and a reasonable fee. I guess fairly secure in the parking area. This is more for cruising than fishing but are there any good areas near a launch? I've only been in Logan Martin once and that was with somebody else.

Town and country is nice but gets crowded. We fish the lower end and usually launch out of rivers edge or coosa island. Rivers edge is nicer parking and a decent restaurant beside the launch..

There doesn't look like much parking at any of these. Which one has the biggest parking lot?

What about D&S? I guess I am just spoiled with the ramps we have up here on Wheeler. Is Lakeside park ramp accessible 24 hrs? If not what are the hours?

Thanks Mega. I found where Lakeside Park closes at sundown. Anybody know if that includes the ramp? Wrong lakeside thats the park that closes at sundown. lakeside landing you can launch 24/7, Those are 2 totally different places, Lakeside park is off 34 and Lakeside landing is off 231. Both are in Cropwell creek, lakeside Landing is what you are wanting.

Yea I noticed the differnce. So you can't use the park ramp after sundown?
