Maybe a few of you remember me asking Aldeer a week or two ago, to school me on zero turns. I do thank each one of you for your insight. I hope I used it wisely.

This is what I brought home today. I believe I'll be happy with it.

It's an eXmark Radius X series 52" cut with a Kawasaki engine, ZT3400 drives, air ride seat, and beefed up spindles and deck. This thing will fly compared to my old tractor mowers. It's supposed to run 10 mph. It seems like it does every bit of it. grin

You are gonna love it. If you can stay in the seat it will cut it. Just remember it's not how fast you now it's how well you mow fast. Lol

Lucky dog. I hate my cub cadet. Today I had to replace all three spindles, blades, adjustment gear, steering linkage and deck roller. Only 195 hours and I've replaced spindles once before. One day when I grow up, I'll have me a nice mower like yours. Enjoy sir!

EHH, that's exactly what I'm replacing. I have two cubs in the carport that I got tired of working on each time the grass needed cut.

I'm already loving it.

Congrats! I'm supposed to demo a Radius X 60" soon. Possibly a JD as well. Really want to look at a Ferris 2100 but no dealer nearby.

Stay away from mud or ponds. You will like it. They do not like to cut around ponds......

I got one about a month ago. First week I set buckets up in yard just to drive around and practice. There is a big learning curve when you have never drive a zero turn before like me.

I had never driven a zero-turn till I got mine to the house on my trailer. I dang near killed myself just backing it off the trailer.

Beware of low limbs and guy wires with the roll bar up. They will catch the bar and make you do a wheelie and crap your pants. I got ours at church stuck under the deck trying to cut too close to save trimming. It took 3 of us to lift the front end up and roll it backwards to get it out.

My dad bought a cub. I begged him not to. I get to work on it often.

Mines a zero turn so I guess it's still better than the old fashioned kind

I did this very thing 10 minutes after unloading mine at home the day I got it. All the way home I told myself to fold it down and then forgot about it....till I went under that Dogwood tree laugh It's been folded ever since.

You'll love your new machine and get at least half of your mowing time back to do other things.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Me neither. My trailer is 5' wide and I only had an inch on one side and not many more on the other. It took at least 5 minutes to drive it off without scratching my pretty new paint.

It took me about 30 minutes before I ran under a Bradford Pear limb. Well, that's one limb I wont have to cut now. Broke it smooth off.

Yeah, like weeding the garden, spraying the fence, pressure washing the carport, etc. LOL I'm going to make time for grilling some steaks and maybe smoking a hind quarter this weekend though. I'll probably replace my Stars and Stripes Monday too.
