I thinking of taking my sons up there camping. I have always wanted to catch a trout. I have no idea what I need or how. They aren't bass! Help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

A tiny hook and a corn nugget. I didn't know that they stock trout at Tannehill. That's pretty cool.

They have been doing it for a while. I think they have a trout derby up there sometime during the summer.

call the park and see when they release the triut and have the trout fishing derby...and check the rules. Azzhats wouldn't let my grandson fish at all when the derby was going on...BECAUSE HE WAS TOO YOUNG. WTH is that..too young??? I guess too young is an unfair advantage?? IDIOTS.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Tell us how you really feel.

Sounds like a great way to kill interest in kids.

Joe, I called the dang Govenors office, the Commishs office, the park head guys office and RAISED HELL. They all knew who I was at the end of the day and how I felt about making a four year old kid cry.

What in the hell? The kid was 4! You don't tell a 4 year old he can't fish! I don't blame you a bit.

pretty sure they changed that rule after all the chitt finished flowing downhill to them at the park, but I'd still call and check dates and rules.
