I called and got my money back for my vest I bought from mossy oak last season. I just received a quality control email telling me they realized the vest i bought didn't meet their product standards and that they would pay for the postage to send my vest back for repairs and or upgrades as well as giving me some kinda coupon. anyone receive this today?

Did all of you file a complaint? Just wondering. I bought a MO super elite this year and it definitely wasn't like the original in terms of quality. Wondering if I need to send mine back too

I did Ned. This is the email address they said to use to tell them you bought a vest and it has issues. The email said they will send you a return authorization on their dime and they will repair or replace your vest.

I had another thread on here earlier about this same thing. I sent them (MO) an email about my vest falling apart, they offered to send a "repaired" or "better quality" vest and I would ship the old one back. Problem is, the replacement had the same issues with the shell holder, all the stitching coming loose and I hadn't even touched the elastic!! Put both of them, old and new, in the box and sent 'em off with a note saying "try again!". That was last week, haven't heard a peep since. IMHO, the quality of these vests is "not very good", to put it in polite terms... Update: Just got that email as well....

I got the email. Guess I'm lucky but I haven't had any issues with mine.

I got the email, and mine is still in the plastic a year later.
I just couldn't make myself stop using the older Mossy oak vest in full foliage, or what ever discontinued camo it is.

Now I'm thinking the plastic might be what's holding the new vest together, and I'm scared to open it.

God Bless,
David B.

Got the email to.
When I received the vest all the buckles where on backwards and loose threads where showing from the seams.
My vest started falling apart on the 2nd hunt. One of the straps that connects the seat pulled out when I fastened it to the vest leaving the truck.
I've hand sewn 4 different places that's came apart at the stitching or where a strap has pulled out. On my 6th hunt in the vest the bottom left pocket came unstitched and the zipper fell off the end. I hunted it 1 more time before switching back to my Ol Tom.
I'm definitely sending it back for repairs or replacement whichever they decide.
I've replied to the link in the email just waiting for a response.
I've been very disappointed with the quality of the vest.

I'm beginning to think they are overwhelmed with return request... been over a week and still no response... I understand this is a marketing nightmare but the lack of follow up is concerning now. This won't hurt Toxey at all but it will hurt programs like NWTF because this will cost Mossy Oak a ton of money... I'm glad tthey are attempting to make it right

They responded to me right away and even asked me to call one of them on their cell phone to talk about other complaints I had with their clothing (chitty buttons, zippers, ripping crotches, fading camo patterns). I need to call that guy today. Anyone got any other gear complaints you want me to share?

My vest got sent back yesterday with 3 of the straps/buckles tore off. I bought one last year and had 4 zippers fall off, they sent me a refund for it. Not sure what they are going to do about the quality issue. Not sure if they are going to replace mine or offer me another refund. Will try one of the new Alps super elites this year.

2nd update, got a "new" vest in the mail a couple of days ago. No correspondence just the vest. I suggested to them when I sent the last two back they look at this forum and see how many people aren't happy with the product. I predict the vest the sent will have the same issues in pretty short order. I'm looking for a better vest already.
