I put 300lbs/ac of 13-13-13 but PCP might suggest something different.

soil test and use what the test says. It'll need nitrogen but there might be enough p and k present so that you won't have to pay for something you already have. Soil test is the only way to know. when using balanced fertilizer, I use triple 17, you get more bang for your buck. I plant chufas around july 1, since we usually have thunderstorms in july and then the chufas mature about the time the water oak acorns start dropping and the turkeys don't wipe out the chufas then and they last a lot longer

I always hit mine with some 34-0-0 / 32-0-0 ()when they get about 10 inches

A soil test is always a good idea and chufas need high fertility for a good yield. I also hit them with 100 lbs of 33-0-0 at about 60 days, provided I've gotten enough rain that they look like it's worth spending the money.
