We accept alot from these UN cry babies. They need to learn Baby sitters get paid. Has anyone here ever done UN duty or know anyone that has? I couldn't see myself taking orders from some clown from France or any other third world Country. Oh hell no on the blue Helmet. That's way too visible and an easy target to acquire.

I didn't think our troops could work under a blue helmet? I know we've worked in conjunction with them, but not under their command?

If you watch President Trump address the Un, he ask they have a moment of silence for the victims. It was very telling how many on the leaders never bowed their heads while some bowed and prayed.

Presently there are 27 Police, 8 Military experts and 38 Troops serving with the UN Peace Keepers.

That's shocking to me. I would have thought the US would have had substantially more personnel. UK for example has almost 600.

The US spends 3.61% of its GDP on NATO. The next highest is Greece with 2.36%. NATO agreement is each member country spends 2% of its GDP on NATO.

I would immediately put the US back down to the 2% mark.

We have been subsidizing Europe's socialism since the end of the Cold War.

I thought about that awhile and realized that we are therefor literally subsidizing the Muslim hijra invasion of Europe since they all go on the welfare rolls of the EU countries when they get there, sometimes permanently.

Then they are eventually declared citizens of an EU country, given a passport and are therefore entitled to visa free travel to the United States. Without any vetting since they are EU citizens and no longer legal citizens of the Muslim countries they came from.

This is just my opinion, so take that for what it's worth.

The United States is a blessed country and also a country that is self made from the hard work, sweat and trials of every man, woman and child who has protected, defended this country along with everyone who owns a business or works for a living. God's Providence in our founding and constitutional federal republic coupled with liberty, freedom and capitalism has created a wonderful country. We are a beacon of hope and opportunity.

With such blessings from God and such dedication from Americans and what this country is in its ideals---we have an opportunity if not a duty along a moral code to be generous and benevolent to meet needs around the world. And the USA does this over an above what we should be doing. So much so that we have created a dependent class of 1st, 2nd and 3rd world nations who just expect the USA to financially and militarily aid everything that needs help globally. Our generosity has been exploited abroad and by our own people who push funding levels to new heights at a drop of the hat.

I'm not an isolationist. Giving to help people in crisis is perfectly fine with me. Helping our allies stay safe and fight back the powers who are against liberty and freedom and capitalism is a worthy pursuit because it is a right thing to do and it helps us too. ?Not worried about getting paid back because peace and economic trade pays us all back in terms of prosperity and freedom. But we give too much to too many with zero in return....not just zero but negative withdrawals.

It is high time our entire approach to supporting everyone else on the globe is reformed. Now I don't like Trump the man very much at all...and I'm not happy with some of the ways he is acting as President. But he is spot on correct in philosophy on many areas and I agree with him.

We need to completely cut of all aid to every country who is not a strategic ally.

Our strategic allies need to start doing more for themselves and not being dependent on our $$.

We need to end our involvement with the stupid global progressives in the UN and NATO.

When natural disasters hit, we should be first with aid to help the citizens impacted...that's something that is god, noble, honorable and right and shows what our nation is all about.

One of the best things we could ever do is to, if we wanted to be charitable and help people be able to fend for themselves with honor, is to issue technology and equipment for clean drinking water, irrigation and mosquito/parasite control in the nations that are struggling with the basics. Corruption in these areas is high, so that will have to be dealt with too.

It is time for America to tend to some of our own internal issues and the billions spent abroad need to be spent here to fix the aging infrastructure, build a wall, etc...then once done, cut taxes to put that money back in our own pockets long term.
