What are some things you believe are factual among turkey hunters? Here's a couple...
1. A short turkey hunter has an advantage over a taller hunter. He can hide so much better in the early season when there is no foilage.
2. A turkey hunter who can't count and shoots over the limit always has too many places to hunt. He doesn't want to kill over the limit and be a game hawg, he does it so the turkeys don't overpopulate and die to a disease.
Let's list some more...

It's really smart to keep blowing an owl call at a turkey who is already gobbling 4 times a minute.

Fact it, there are no 100% all the time, every time facts when it comes to hunting turkeys. 60% of the time, certain tactics work EVERY time.

4. A good woodsman will kill more birds than a champion caller absolutely! Fact - spending more time turkey hunting will result in more birds killed during the season

Woods birds are far easier to kill than pasture birds. Really? I've always found it pretty easy to kill birds I can lay eyes on... Yep, I've found it pretty easy to kill birds in a field that see a fan or a dek....... I don't use a fan or a deke and woods birds are across the board easier than pasture birds to kill. You misunderstood me. I never said I was above it! You'd crawl up on one wouldn't you? Rule 14: If he's in the right mood, anyone can call one up. It takes a woodsman to get within range of a 3-4 year old bottomland gobbler. Crawling beats calling. Calling is so overrated.

Rule 14b (can't keep track of numbers above). Internet turkey hunters are far superior hunters than anyone I've ever met in person. Big 10-4 on that one.
