Rig something up that when they trip wire it mixes toilet cleaner and aluminum foil in a bottle.
It's a slight delay but will explode.

It would be easier to rig some kind of noise maker to a motion detector. A siren or something. So that every time it walked up in its range it went off. But I guess they might get used to that too.

If that is the one that goes off every so often, they get use to them and start to ignore them. Another thing, last year I ran electricity and put a stereo in the field. They seem to prefer country music while eating watermelons Did you play watermelon crawl for them to dine to?

Just put up a deer stand. It's works for us. Everytime we put up a stand the deer just dissappear never to be seen again.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Go to site one or ewing irrigation and buy the deer scram. Comes in a 5 gal bucket and normally keeps them off plants 4-6 weeks depending on rain.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
