The Giles woman missing last seen in Ca. has been in a lot of the news. She was with a "friend". Don't say if "friend" is male or female. Where is the "friend"? News is reported and leaves us with lots of questions. They will let the story go in awhile and we never know.

I don't have any additional info other than what I've seen reported. I was wondering about the acquaintance myself.

I am thinking they said she was from Maplesville. I don't see Peachpicker on here anymore. He would know. Sonny Giles kin? They're not telling much but guess there is a reason for that.

I don't know the woman, but have friends that do know her. They really don't know much apparently. I'm guessing that the traveling companion is someone LE really wants to speak to as a suspect and don't want to spook them by plastering the info in the press. Also, I gathered that while it is getting a lot of press here, the family doesn't feel it is getting enough in the CA/AZ area.

I'm still here just haven't logged on in awhile. Yes Sandy is or at least was kin to Sonny by marriage. According to Facebook she took a friend to cali.to visit family. The friend is safe. Sandy started home alone. I'm not sure what the news has reported but her car has been found out of gas.

I thought I would update. Some of her family members went to where her car was they found a shoe. They then were taken to where her car is now, sounds like all her belongings was still in the car even her phone. At this point they have no clues or which direction to even look. It's not looking good at all

Anything new Peach? The latest I've heard is that the family is there and were taking part of some organized searches this weekend. It seems to have finally gotten some publicity and action by the people out there.

A few more details have come out. She was in CA visting and then left the house suddenly and unexpectedly in the middle of the night and her car was found about a 10 hour drive away from where she was staying. The car contained her clothes and personal items when recovered.

Hate to say it, but things don't look good for a positive outcome at this point.

Jawbone, sounds like you have heard everything I have. The more I here the more it doesn't make sense. She was missing 2 weeks before an organized search was done... I'm not expecting a good outcome.

Just heard they found her body 800 feet from her vehicle 10 feet off the road. SMDH

Sounds like Arizona needs some search team training or maybe a give a crap booster shot. I feel for that family.

This don't add up. Do they not use dogs in a search like that?
