I do leg quarters all the time. I don't cook them at the low temps I do something like a butt because I think they get too smokey and I like the skin a little crispy. I usually bump the temp up to 325-350 and cook them about an hour and a half or so.

I rub mine 24 hours ahead of time then 275 for 3-6 hours (depending on their size) for a good bite through almost chrispy skin.

Got em going. Electric smoker I have will only go up to 275 I just found out. Oh well smelling good in the hood now How did it turn out?
