Y'all have any tips on where I could get a picnic table that won't rot and warp? I refuse to get wood and have it trashed in a year from rain and sun.

What if you built it out of that impervious plastic wood stuff?

Hardi board? That's what I was considering, but I'd rather just buy one already built.

You could build one out of treated lumber for under $150.00. My BGE table I built is basically a picnic table without benches. Took me a couple of hours to build it.

If you build it out of Hardi board, don't plan on moving it unless you got some help.

We have a couple at work that the guvment bought years ago. I believe they're made out of TREX and have steel frame

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I have no idea where to get it, but the plastic stuff is really easy to work with, other than pointed out, it is heavier than wood. A friend of mine, along with several other investors, opened a plant making the stuff on the old air force base. They used recycled, disposable diapers. The product made great decks. All was fine until a fire and I watched their investment burn slap to the ground one day.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

A guy down here bought a couple of shipping containers of plastic fence post about 30 years ago made out of disposable diapers. That was 30 years ago and the post are just as solid today as the day he bought them.

The plastic lumber is sold at Lowe's and Home Depot. Saws and screws together just real wood. Last a lifetime.

Jawbone had a friend of mine work that fire at the plant in Selma. Said the fire was so hot they couldn't get close enough to put water on it. Just had to keep it contained. We used super wood it cut parts out of the college with a three way milling machine. It let us cut parts and not dull milling bits. We made trays for the auto mech shop that fit into there toolboxes and held there tool in place. We spent about a week micing out all the wrenches and socket and what not in there tool kits.
