I have 7 plants in all. The hybrid sherry and beefsteak already producing and doing well. The 2 roma's just got planted and are doing well too. 2 of the last 3 are struggling. The yellow mater plant in between these 2 is doing ok. Here are the symptoms. One plant has leaves and one stalk the just turned yellow. The plant was full of blooms last week til it started turning yellow. The other one has one of it's major stalks just withering and dying. They all get watered but these 2 plants are struggling. Can someone help a brother id this problem please?
I came, I saw, so I killed them all......Vern

Sure sound like it could be root knot nematodes. Could be problematic .

Have all 5 planted in a row. The 1st, 3rd & 5th are doing great. It's the 2nd & 4th that are struggling. I suspect they might be too close together. They're spaced about a foot apart. I noticed where either squirrels or chipmunks have been digging around them too. The plants are about 4-5 feet tall. I haven't sprayed or applied any fertilizer or fungicide to anything in my garden. Everything is doing real well without all of that stuff. This is my first year to plant here in Georgia. I have these and a bunch more planted in a raised bed. The other is jalapeņo peppers, garlic, onions, 3 different bell peppers, banana peppers and spicy banana peppers. All in a 8x8 box. Is this too much in a small area?

8x8 is a good sized bed hon. It is all about placement but that might get a bit crowded if everything grows to a good size. Just keep up with it and if needed, take something out. Crowding is never good.
