Well I really haven't watched it much in years, and this just makes it easier to not watch it in the future.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I used to love watching Dandy Don Meredith, Howard Cosell, and Frank Gifford. Made me look forward to Monday nights. Hasn't been the same since.

I saw where she and Ryan will do one game this season, I think in Week 8. They may have added some more but from what I read it's a one-shot deal. Probably a trial balloon to see how ratings go and how they work in the booth.

I don't watch MNF much anyway.

Mentioning the Don-Howard-Frank years, that was when it WAS a must-watch deal if you liked the NFL because there were fewer options. Couple of games on Sunday, MNF and that was it. There wasn't an over-saturation today that watered down the anticipation of MNF.

Just part of progress/technology but yeah, it definitely was something more exciting back then. Similar to the MLB Game of the Week. I'm not a big baseball fan but having a couple of baseball games to watch on the weekend with a cold beer or two was fun now and then.

Your right Clem they are doing one game together. It's the second game of the week one double header not even the prime time game. We still get Jon Gruden but they replaced Mike Tirico with Sean McDonough.

I don't understand them taking Tirico off the game. He's solid, has a good voice and isn't demonstrative. Very even-keeled.

McDonough isn't terrible but just seems weird to make that change. ESPN's a bunch of weirdos, though.

Probably because he doesn't work at ESPN anymore. Good move on his part.

They'll get every feminist rights movement group to have every TV they can turned to it that night an skewer the real interest and ratings. No one in the media will dare say it was terrible if it is and ESPN will proclaim it is a phenomenal success and stick us with it for years until it becomes obvious why so many people watched that night and the sponsors lose interest.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Back in my day too. Dandy Don was the best!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

He could give Howard some grief, and didn't seem to care what came out of his mouth.

Nah, best dandy don episode...cams had panned around and found this smoking hot chic. Zoomed in on her nice and tight and you could tell don and sidekick were discussing off mic. Chic, not knowing she was on national television, eased a finger up and worked a little booger. Don said..."welp, she was 'almost' perfect". The booth exploded and they went to commercial.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

That would have been the best time to sing "The Party's Over".
