I'm going to get traps in the ground next week. I plan on using some old deer meat, a mouse I caught, some Dunlap location bait that the guy at fnt recommended, and some June's persimmon paste. Wondering what everyone else is using or planning to use this summer.

I use more lures than bait. Especially during the summer months because of ants.
Milder (less skunk essence) lures seem to do better in warmer temps.
Kryptonite from SnareOne is one of my favorites. It's advertised as a long distance call lure but isn't an overpowering smell that I've had good results with.
Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience. Emerson
