I picked up my mount on Thursday evening for the buck I killed in December that we called "Trashy". The mount turned out great!!!

Lots of Character. Two acorns on one side. I've heard that can be caused by bee stings. Who knows. Either way a great deer and mount. Congrats! Did you have it aged by any chance? That much trash on bases sometimes indicates old bucks.

No, I didn't have him aged...Based solely off of trail camera pictures, I believe he was only 3.5. I had a known 4.5 year old buck and multiple 2.5 year olds that traveled in the same bachelor group with this deer. I always thought Trashy's age was in between those other bucks' based on body size...I recovered this buck the morning after I'd shot him and I wasn't able to weigh him because coyotes had torn him up badly. I always guesstimated him to be 160-175 lbs live weight
