I've killed deer with TTSX in 243 and 308 and all were DRT ... devastating and effective would both be excellent choices of words thumbup

This season I want to hunt early season with my 223 and pop a doe with it. If that happens then I'll switch to a 30-06 TTSX ... another load to work up

I prefer the solid copper in the 223 caliber for instant kills, in my 284 and 30 calibers bullet choices really don't make a $hit when shooting deerz.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

I've use a 77g Vmax with 4895. Have to chamber load them cause they are too long for a magazine. Makes a big jelly doughnut.

I fell in love with Barnes the first time I experienced tracking a deer on my own. At first the snow on the ground made it difficult but after the sun came out and the snow started to melt the whole danged woods looked like Otis from the AG show had been running around with a paint shaker
