Wife wanted some mater so I planted in her some. I know nothing about growing em. Looking for any things I need to know. Like do I need to spray em with something.

I been watering every afternoon and they are growing like crazy. Already loading up with maters. Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you have squirrels around then keep an eye on them. They'll ruin a good tomato plant.

Use Miracle grow for Roses, not for Tomatoes. Yes, I'm serious. It has a higher P&K rate with lower N and that's what they need.

Move them around every year and you will have better luck. Keeps the diseases down.

I don't have many choices on moving them around. I live on the rock that holds the world together. They are planted now in fill dirt on the edge of the bluff. I think I will build a raised bed for next year if I can get em to do anything.

Find something at your local garden store or co-op that says "tomato fertilizer". You want the middle number to be higher than the rest. Laying a bunch of nitrogen to a tomato plant will make one huge and pretty plant, with no tomatoes. You need phosphorous (middle number) to make a lot of fruit.

I did wonder where you planted them because I know you live on the rock that holds the world together. You've gotta have a good 1/4" or soil on your place. LOL
