How's the hunting been for everybody?

I'm struggling in AL. Since my miss on the 22nd, it's slowed down at my club. There's two gobblers that will make this season memorable for the wrong reasons. They keep gobbling, and I keep screwing it up - it's been a comedy routine really. I'm gonna have to leave them alone and go find another gobbling bird to kill.

Headed back to KY for the regular season on the 20th, to hunt their second weekend. I hope all those birds we found on the youth hunt are still hanging around.

Well i had 3 gobblers within 80 yards this morning, got busted by the 20 hens with them. Going back in there in a couple hours with the gobbler deke.

Killed a 2 year old in KY this morning. Great hunt and beautiful scenery up here!

My Alabama season has been frustrating, I lost 100 acres of my main farm and the turkeys seem to know it. There are 3 gobblers that I watch from a powerline who are always together, never have hens, gobble at each other and won't come to a call. They have been named the gay gobblers. Headed to Tennessee this weekend to see if I can find one that wants to play the game.

Guys it's been frustrating here in AL. I've got us some points but we leave out Friday night for NE. I'll see what happens up there and then I will post up the biggest 3 I have.

Congrats BH84! Some good birds there!

I know that Nebraska trip was fun - even when they get frustrating - it's still fun being out chasing birds around.

Just want to add that I had a fun year, and enjoyed chasing'em with you guys.

This will likely be my last year in a contest - even though I've really enjoyed the team concept and having teammates during each season.

I'm blessed to have two young up-and-coming hunters. My 8 year old is obsessed, and I'll have his younger brother hunting soon. I started realizing this year my time behind the trigger is getting pretty slim. But hunting with the younguns is pretty special - wouldn't trade it for nothing!
