Churnin up mud too

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Everybody is stacked in the slough. Tournament guys fishing bumper to bumper nearly. We had to run main river earlier and it sucked...

Went to Neely Henry yesterday. It was as rough as I've ever seen it there. Wind was blowing straight up river at the 77 bridge. Fortunately, we decided to stay up river.

I have been on this river for 40+ years, and other than duck hunting back in early 90s storm, Saturday's wind coming straight down the pipe from the south is the worst I have seen. Had some friends that wanted to go out on pontoon. I had to revert to hitting sloughs or against banks to get out of the rollers. Pontoon would get down in the rollers and push water over front. There was a lot of ABA guys I felt for during that TX. Bad fo sho.

We put in under 759 and stayed off the river all day in what I call the canals. We never really noticed the wind until we went to the 77 marina and that BBQ place there. Once you came around the corner, it was brutal.

Fishing wasn't great either. I might have had 10 lbs. That would have put me in the top 20 of the ABA tourney.

Little Bridge Marina. We own 3 boat slips there. Place has great food. Good steroid shot for all the owners there. Prices for slips there, if one comes for sale, have went up 5 fold over the last 3 years.

It's a neat little place. Neely Henry has more boat up dining places than any other lake I know. Makes it fun when you're just practicing. Hope to go back this weekend, but sounds like the ABT will be there Saturday.....

Plan on putting in down at Greensport and looking for grass down there. I have a bunch that I like between City Launch and 77, but I wanted to find some on the lower end. Might take the side imaging out and look at the roads and ledges in front of Greensport as well.
