Finally got around to setting out the K9's last weekend. Caught one coon and one coyote.

Good job!

Did you get the coated ones?

I bought the non coated, but thinking of getting some more that are coated.

God Bless,
David B.

David,

I got the coated. I think I like them. Like Hogwild said in another post, the coating can be a little sticky at first. I just took a file and cleaned up the pan/trigger point. I've been busy with bees and turkey hunting and didn't even boil or wax the traps. Just stuck them out while we were turkey hunting. Kinda half-A but I loved the way the low profile of the K-9. Gonna get serious toward the end of July when fawning season rolls around. One thing I found out is that trying to sift wet black belt clay is like trying to push Play Doh through a screen wire door.
