good bird jellyhead, I rekin ive had the least amount of time to hunt this year that ive had ever. im bout to get married an due to unforeseeable circumstance I have been in the woods twice. im suckin it up right now datgummit but hopefully got a few things out of the way now.

Had some bad luck. Got one to 20 yards and the dang gun didn't go off. I think it was a bad primer in the shotshell. Either way he got away been a sick feeling.

I was in birds all yesterday and this morning. Long story short I missed one yesterday at 11:00. Makes me sick just thinking about it. I got close to getting it done this morning but had to leave to make it to work on time. It's been a very tough season for me so far.

I got a chance yesterday to call in a first bird for a friend of mines son.
Got it done by 6:45.

Called one up in sumter co saturday afternoon, sucker came up on my wrong side not makin a peep an had 3 more with him, needless to say they had me pinned down an i couldnt move he strutted for bout 5 min at 40yrds behind some pine trees an wouldnt let me get turned around to kill him. Dang birds are kickin my butt

Got an upgrade bird this morning. Flew off the roost and came straight in!! 20.5 pounds 9 3/4" beard 15/16" spurs

Got my 2nd AL bird and 5th over all this morning. Not sure he'll upgrade or not, but it was a fun hunt. 17.4 pounds 10.25" beard .75" spurs

Gonna give it a few more try's this week/weekend. It's been a disappointing season for me to say the least. First year in I can't even remember I haven't atleast killed 3.

I've killed 4 so far. I have my biggest ones posted. Oh Well its been fun. I can go in morning and then I'm done for the year. I think. May get to squeeze in one hunt to Georgia next Saturday. Good luck guys

Well fellers ive let yall down ive hunted bout 7 times this year. I called up a yote a week ago an killed him. Only thing ive pulled the trigger on. Least ive ever hunted an first year in awhile i aint killed a turkey. Mad at myself. Sorry fellers just had alot goin on this year
