20 years of shooting just about every other brand, I got my first Mathews (Halon 6), I got it sighted in today and I'll be damned if the Mathews fans haven't been right all along.

I feel like I've wasted a chunk of my life

Bought a second hand switchback. It's the only compound bow I've ever shot. I see no reason to shoot anything else.

Ya'll go ahead and laugh at me. I'm still shooting the MQ1 I got when I was 13. In fact, I think it's the only bow I've every shot.

I need to find me a used upgrade at some point. These new bows are too dang expensive.

Well I was like wj1983 I had shot it so long
And was pretty accurate within 40 yards I would
Not spend the $ to update,,after sons giving me the halon 32
I wonder why I did not change sooner.
With the 85 rock mods you can hold at full draw forever
And I'm a old guy and the accuracy and quietness is
Unbelievable. Although not for everyone I m extremely
Pleased.

I bought a Halon32 two weeks ago and love it. Just shot a 6" group at 60. Can't wait to sling a Rage this fall!!

I shoot an old Q2. Every year I consider getting a new one, but can't talk myself into it. As long as it stays quiet to draw, I'll probably stick with it.

Yesterday we set it up for him and I shot it for the
First time since getting the halon 32 and it made
Me wonder how I shot so many deer with it.
It's a day and night difference and I m the old
If it's not broke don't fix it kinda guy
Make the change you will not regret it

Rem270 I never shot anything else as well
So I never felt the need to change,,,in fact
If not given to me I still would be shooting
The SQ2. Nothing wrong with any of them
The technology has made it much easier to
Shoot,,,with that said you and Smells both
Would prolly outshoot me!

I had a q2 for years and traded it (mistake) to upgrade to an outback (worst bow i ever owned) traded it for a switchback and have fell in love again.
maybe one day i'll trade up for a newer one.

The Outback is right there with the LX for my least favorite Mathews.

I've shot the same arrows with Bowtech RPM360 and the Halon into the same target and I'm getting more penetration with Halon.

Which is crazy.

Because the draw, hold and quietness isn't close

I was like that too. Had a PSE and a Martin which were ok. A few years ago I bought a Matthews Helim and it was so different. I love my Matthews and would definitely buy another. Now when your strings need replacing take your Matthews to Shaw and you will really have something great. I drove from Florida and it was worth it. Shaw made my Matthews shoot better. Like he posted. Welcome to the dark side. Enjoy thumbup
