"Inherited" this scope on a rifle I just acquired. I know it's an economy model but I kinda like the red dot. Anyone got any experience with these? I may play with it a little. Hadn't shot the gun yet.

Might be ok on a range gun but I wouldn't trust it.

Try it and see. I know a guy that's had the same BSA scope on his rifle for almost 20 years, and he's a deer killing machine with it, too.

Thing about Bsa some are quality scopes for the dollar and some aren't fit to mash sugar ants. All depends if you have a good one or not.

i got a 3-9x50 etched glass ir on mine hunting rifle. The red dot is a litttle to bright for late evening. It works good if the sun is in your eyes. Mine has been great, ive even knocked the gun over in the shooting house and it kept zero. I can shoot past legal shooting hours too. Its been such a good scope i hate to replace it with a more expensive one. I've had it on same gun for 6-7 years and the set up was used when i bought it.
