auburns band is without a doubt better than Alabama's. as is Tennessee, lsu, and 90% of the others I see

Something else you Bammers can be proud of, they cut the Million Dollar Band out of the football budget too so they have to raise their own money. And????? They have to change their name. Too bad their is already a Rap artist called 50 cent. Might have to go up to Dollar Bill to avoid confusion.

If you want to compare bands .... pretty sure Troy wins that competition. But football sells a hell of a lot more tickets than a good band does.

If it is a band competition, then none around here are as impressive in choreography as Alabama State. That is a big thing in the SWAC conference. The football game is a sideshow to the band performances when ASU is playing Grambling. They are serious about the battle of the bands stuff.

A whole bunch of band folks think football games are played so that the band can be heard. VERY True. Our high school games normally have about 7,000 fans/game. There are about 250 kids in the band and probably 1,000 of the fans are parents, siblings and grandparent of the band members. They cheer at halftime for their kids just like I do for mine during the game.
