I just don't hear a lot about AJV. I have some open areas that are too wet to plant in the fall but certainly, they're not too wet to grow something in the spring and summer. These areas are shaded, damp and it would appear to be a great place to plant AJV and maybe some Alyce Clover as soon as these areas dry up in the latter spring.
Does it make sense to spray these areas with gly/24D and kill everything and disk it up and plant AJV and AC?
I want to open more areas up for spring and summer planting and not have to terminate them to plant for fall and winter. I think these areas will be good for early bow season or until the first frost.
Anyone planting these wet areas for spring and summer plots?

I know they don't like weed and grass competition. Pretty pricey from what i remember. A little pricey but if you spray it with cleth or sethoxydim and butyrac it grows like crazy even in last years drought and the deer tear it up. A little 0-20-20 and you're good to go. I plant corn, beans and peas also and have year round clover patches too but this definitely has its place.
