RH I use the Caldwell JR. It's pretty stable for load development but most of my rifles weigh a couple more pounds than yours so your mileage may vary. I'm thinking about having my machinists make a different style top for it that will allow for a slight clamping effect. But....I've shot several groups in the 0.2s with this rest so I may be chasing a problem that doesn't exist.

I built this from a small vise I had on hand, it is fully adjustable on three sides and works great. I use a Caldwell bag for the rear. Rock solid and effective out to 1k.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Reloader, do you use that Butch's cleaner regularly? I've tried it and really like it.

Clem, that's all I use when I get serious into cleaning barrels. Good stuff.

I use a lead sled but don't use the lead. I use some sand bags at the range. Works great.

I had a cheap one. I placed the rifle on it and ratchet strapped them to the table at the range. It was easy to sight in because it didn't move. I shot standing beside the rifle. No human error possible.
