Let me start off by saying I'm 6'6" 275lbs. I'm mainly a bow hunter but will pick up a gun occasionally. I primarily hunt lockons but like to use a climber every now and then. I currently have a Summit Goliath but want to buy another climber. I like it and it's comfortable but just curious what you other big folks use. Its not really a good bow hunting stand as low as the seat sits. Thanks

I am 6'7 and 230. I love my Goliath and wouldn't own anything else. And I bought a Goliath from midway a while back for 225.

I have the seat straps on my goliath as tight as they'll go. I can shoot a bow sitting down relatively easy, as long as I'm not shooting straight down. But you're right, it's not the most ideal option. Its hard to beat them for comfort though, especially with the foot rest.

Yea comfort by far will be hard to beat. Just wanted to hear opinions. It's the best I've found so far.

I preface this with the statement that I work for PRADCO (owns Summit). Before I worked for them, I owned a Summit 180 Max, and it has been the most comfortable and roomy that I have used. I am 6 ft and 245. It has the same platform as the Titan, but the Surround Seat is very comfortable and the top section part opposite the tree is more rounded. It is not comfortable for shorter people due to the distance it is from the tree when climbing.

Summit 180 Max - 18" W x 12" D seat size, 21” W x 30.75” D platform size

Summit Goliath - 18" W x 12” D seat size, 20" W x 28.75” D platform size

Summit Titan - 18” W x 12” D seat size, 21”W x 30.75” D platform size

Jeremy

Im six five,300 lbs and I still hunt high with my vintage Summit Goliath if that stand could talk I tell you we spent many comfortable hours with the big boy HHS that you have to mail in a signed waiver for the pro model before they will ship it to you,I attached a bow hanger on the left side of my summit and shot several with my bow no issues just need to practice that shot several times before the season and you are good to go. Summit and Hunter Safety System is a killer set up for us larger hunters.

Tell me what the Big Boy HHS is? Are you talking about the safety vest or something extra for a seat?

I'm 6'4" and about 310 lbs. I need to loose weight and I'm trying but I need a new stand too.
