As the title states, looking for a club in Tennessee, preferably south central to western, mainly to turkey hunt 4-7 days a year on. It is unlikely that I would ever make it to deer hunt. Not wanting to spend a larger chunk of money considering the limited amount of time I will hunt it, but would consider anything under, say $1250 for the right place.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Dylan

I Would be very careful. Turkey numbers are about 1/2 what they were 10 years ago in southern middle tn.

I'd look from I40 north from Jackson to Cookeville.

Anything in Bedford, Lincoln or Giles and you should be good. I hope they all die in franklin county where I deer hunt.

Better stay in the northern half of Lincoln and Giles both. The die off has got them thin of hwy 64

When you aren't getting any nibbles, the location doesn't matter anyway smile

I don't have a place up there, wish I did. People are tightlipped up that way when it comes to hunting.

I have a few farms in Lincoln County (all north of HWY 64) and both the turkey and the deer hunting are as good as anywhere I have been in the country. So, my advice is simple - if you find a lease, you better jump on it and worry about the rate later. Leases are VERY TOUGH to come by in Lincoln County.

Everyone seems to be focused on Lincoln county, and while that would be fine, it's not specifically where in looking. So I guess I should specify that I would be fine with any place from Lincoln county, up to close to Nashville, over to Dyersburg, and back down close to Memphis. Those 20-25 counties in that area would be fine.

I think I have a lead or 2 now, but it sounds like there may be a waiting list .
