We made it up to the camp around 4pm. Some 3 sets of gobbler tracks and a few sets of hen tracks on our main road to camp. We had a good rain at camp yesterday midday so I know they are fresh. My nieghbor came met me a sand told that gobbler in his pasture gobbled his head off again the morning and pitched down in the pasture again. We are gonna try to get on him in the morning.

I'm not throwing in the towel yet but I think our place is completely void of any gobblers this year. We checked everyone of our rds yesterday and we found one set of gobbler tracks and I'm not sure if they were since the rain a few days ago. Found a few hen tracks so that's good in a way. We didn't hear a gobble anywhere from our big hill this morning. Still got a few days left maybe one will show up for these hens.

Sure is quiet up in here! You guys still after them? I've got about 3 days left of Hunting Alabama before a trip to Washington/Idaho, then I'll get a few days in TN to finish it off. You guys keep at it!

Sorry guys, but it looks like my turkey season started and finished with the trip over the weekend. I thought our season in La went till the end of the month. Nope it closes Tuesday and I don't get off work till Wednesday. And I'm not going back to the camp till my mother in law is back to her normal self,if that will ever happen. Sorry for being a drain on the team but matters that I couldn't control knocked me out the game. Good luck guys with all yalls travels and keep posting pics and stories. That's all some of us are going to have this season.

No worries Marsh...Those guys on Team 1 are tough to beat. It's gonna be hard to dethrone them without a team where everyone kills 3 gooduns.

Picked up some points this weekend guys. It's been a rough season for me but I have next week off so maybe I can pick up another one or two.

This weekend sucked, barely heard a gobble. I'm done for the next week, but I'll be traveling next week

3 more mornings here in Bama then off to the Midwest with Ms. Amanda. The plan is to start in Oklahoma and hopefully we'll punch a few tags then head North. If I can kill a Rio and Merriams on our little adventure I'll have a single season grand slam. That would be pretty awesome in itself but this year being the first year I've made and ran my own calls would make it really awesome!

Sorry man I just found this. Yes I got the email but don't think we're going up that far. We stopped at a fire station Friday afternoon to ask for directions and picked up 360 acres of private land. Killed a nice double this morning before the bad weather hit and hopefully we'll get to finish filling out tags by Monday.

Well guys I hunted my azz off this season and only had one turkey in shotgun range. Somehow I only managed to knock a few feathers off his back. Only heard about five gobble the whole season. Sorry I couldn't put one on the board. I guess now I can focus more on archery tournaments.

Well guys my season eneed in Alabama and Kentucky trip just didn't work out and the weather messed up the Colorado trip they got 14 inches of snow where we was supposed to hunt so the outfitter let me reschedule for next year. Sorry I couldn't finish it off with a bang it was a good year for me considering I only hunted about 7 mornings. Good luck to the rest of you who are getting to travel.

Better luck next year fellas! I could upgrade my two 50 point birds but what would another 20 points do? Lol!

The number of killers in this contest is almost unreal! It'll take a team with 18 above average birds to win each season.
