I was thinking the same thing. Me and Travis boated around 10 bass by 7-730ish. All on swimbaits. The fish were hitting with a attitude. We picked Travis little girl up at 7:30 with plans to bream fish, but got rained out not long after.

Sounds like the morning bite was on for you. What lake were you on?

Neighborhood lake here by the house. Fishes a lot like a big lake. We caught them from 2' of water all the way to 20' today.

Went back this afternoon with my little girl and got a stuck a few more. Nice school of spots were on a rock pile in about 10'.

Yes sir, mighty fun and a nice way to hone skills by targeting them deep.

That would be nice to have spots in a pond or small lake. Guess it would need some depth for them to thrive though. Do they get any size to them in there ?

It's a nice addition for sure. Fortunate to have the fishery we have right here by the house. We regularly catch them 3lb+.

I caught several pushing 3lbs yesterday. A couple on top and a few on a C-rig.

Biggest I've ever caught here prob went 4.5 on a pop-r one August morning last year.
