Dang fire ants have been a hell of a problem in the past, but Orthene is the best thing since sliced bread. I think 3 weeks ago I had 24 fire ant beds in my yard and today I found one. One of the few products that works like everybody said it would.

Yes, and it does not take a lot....that stuff is powerful and stinks to high heaven. I have found nothing that works as well.

A few weeks ago I started my springtime ant killing. I think there were 27 fire ant beds I dusted. I check the yard every week and if I find a new one I dust it. Today I couldn't find an ant bed anywhere, I had to go out in the pasture just to kill a few. I wish I could find Orthene for that price down here, it was still $8.95 in Panama City today.

Thanks. I've been using Bayer and it just moves them around
