Ive got Thursday off work and debating between going down to Lock 8 on the Black Warrior or stay in town and fish Oliver. Anyone fished these recently?? Ive never fished either.

Lock 8 had two tournaments down there last weekend so got pounded on. The water looks decent crossing over the bridge on 14 at lock 7. Olivers been pretty good lately, all main river channel fishing, just have to find the ledges and holes the bass are sitting in.

Hopefully I can get me one of those tomorrow. There are some shoals in the back of northriver that can be good this time of year. Just watch the the stumps and trees in the water. Keep a zara spook or something handy because the stripe can blow up at any time. What time are you going?

Plus when I got back in one of my trailer bunks had rotted out and the other is about to go, so I've been putting bew bunks together this afternoon to put on at some point this weekend. We need to go sometime ill show you a couple places
