Yelp, yes she is a boykin. 9 months old and 27lbs. She is slow learner on retrieving although she enjoys it but she loves nothing more than being with me in the country. She was in the truck when I killed this bird. They are fascinating dogs. My old boy is 11.5 years old and has some health problems. While I really want another hunting dog, I can't bring myself to buy another while he's still alive. It just doesn't seem right. ive got a 10 year old boykin male who acts like a puppy. no signs of slowing down.
