I will start showing the property May 01 to new potential members. The first year dues are $3,300.00, then $3,000.00 every year after. I will not know about any available openings until May 01. It takes a minimum of three hours to look at the core areas of the property. The club is located East of I-65 at Exit 299 (Dodge City Exit). It consist of approximately 1,600 acres with both trophy and non-trophy areas. I usually have 1 or 2 openings every year or two. If you would like more info., please send an email to dwilborn@hiwaay.net requesting club info. My number is 256-338-0196.

Planted 1 ton of corn and 2 tons of soybeans on 70 acres at the club last week. It's already had two rains. Spread over two miles of road side with brown top millet, corn, clay peas, soybeans, lab lab, and sunflower yesterday before last nights' rain. This is the first time I have tried the top sow along the road sides. Plus, filled the feeders with 3,500 pounds of protein pellets, corn, and walnut mix. I sure hope my deer don't commit gluttony!!!

The man who arranged for me to lease the property some 12 years ago ask if he could hunt as long as I had the property. He has been there maybe 6 times in the past 12 years. The other three pay $5,000.00 to hunt the 800 acre farm that I have lease for row crops. They can hunt the 1,600 acres also, if they choose. They hardly ever hunt the 1,600 acres. My oldest member of 11 years, has coon hunted the 1,600 a couple of times, but has never deer hunted it. Another hunted 1/2 of a day last season, and the third has hunted it 4 or 5 times in the past 2 years. Those guys don't have the time to scout both places. Plus 3 guys hunting 800 acres is less pressure than 10 hunting 1,600 acres.

The beans and corn are breaking ground pretty good. Going to spray them with round up and liquid calcium next week. I'm pretty excited, it's the largest single track of land that I have ever planted for wildlife.

5 tons of fertilizer put out yesterday on that big field. Praying for rain. I need at least two new members. Anyone who is interested, email me at dwilborn@hiwaay.net.

We have fed another 4,000 pounds of feed in the last three days. Just started adding Aureomycin to the feed. This is the second year I have added this to the feed prior to fawning and to help turkey poults.

Finally put the final touch to the big field. Spread another 1.5 tons of fertilizer around the outside edge of the field. Then drilled a mix of sunn hemp, sunflower, cowpeas, corn, and soybeans. It's up to the weather now. Trying to build my own wall. If this field doesn't bring the deer in, nothing will.

I can take a couple more members. More deer sign this year than I can ever remember. They are eating more feed than I have ever fed. They love the mix with walnuts, corn, and Buck Booster. If you are interested in the club call me at 256-338-0196.

The corn is around 7 feet tall and putting on ears. The beans are full of beans and almost waist deep. The last planting has the non-GMO corn at around 3 feet high, sunn hemp and sunflowers are around 2 feet tall, and the cow peas are starting to climb. The rain, liquid calcium, and fertilizer has made this questionable field into an agricultural miracle. I am still looking for a couple new guys, but the rains have caused some road damage. Hope to have a dozer by the end of the month.

Yes, it's a nice mobile home with all the conveniences. Camper hook up, also. Two more buildings for storage or sleeping.

I would be interested in more info. If possible for Sattelite map of property and more info on the turkey population. If there is a good number of turkeys I would be a good member for you as I probably would not deer hunt often if at all. Thanks

I am back to showing the property. The dozer man finally showed up and has got the roads back to normal. I have laid off showing the past two months because the roads were in such bad shape from all the rain. We will start getting the fields ready to plant shortly, so I will be on the property a pretty good bit for the next month. Call me at 256-338-0196 to set something up. For more information about the club, please send an email to: dwilborn@hiwaay.net for me to reply. Thanks.
