Once shot with a dude that had a very highdollar custom .270 from a well known maker,owned 4 presses bullets from every major maker...his rifle loved Remington 150 grain softpoints. Doug swore me to secrecy about how those Rems would beat his loads.Just goes to show no one bullet combo is "best"

At what range does the ELD begin to show an advantage? I personally don't have a place to make a shot that I would say is long range so really don't see an advantage to me but still intrested to know

At what range does the ELD begin to show an advantage? I personally don't have a place to make a shot that I would say is long range so really don't see an advantage to me but still intrested to know It depends on what you are shooting and how well the velocity carries. Down to probably around 16-1800fps would be my guess. They will kill at slower speeds though.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.
