Ah yea, big bruise for sure.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

central ala,
Y'all do know what those shoulder length gloves are used for, right? I don't blame the cow for kicking her at the sight of those gloves.

Her teeth were kicked to dust. I'd hate to be kicked in the mouth by anything especially an animal over 500lbs

Central the calf is already on the ground. I'm surprised she wasn't knocked out.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

Took a kick like that to the center of my chest as a teenager. Me, along with everybody in the pasture that day thought that damn cow had killed me. grin

I was probally 18 or 19 when i got kicked in the chest loading cows had a hoof shaped bruise on my sternum. The guys thats was helping slid me off in to a side pen to keep me from getting stepped on. I guess i passed out from not breathing i remember getting kicked and going damn that hurt then couldnt breath in like you do when you get the wind knocked out of you i came to and they were trying to stand me up to get me to the doctor. A xray later showed that the kick cracked my sternum. That pain from that was much worse then any broke rib I've had. A sneeze would bring you to your knees and stay away from funny folks that make you laugh during the healing process. Haf my wrist broke and a few fingers broke from getting kicked. Cow went to kick and I threw my hands up out of relfex I guess and she kicked my hand directly backwards which was a closed fist. You have to be careful around livestock they'll hurt before you know whats going on. My brother started helping me with cows last 2 years and when he fisrt started helping asked how I've been kicked or hit so much saidnhe hasnt been kicked yet. I told him if he does it long enough he'll get kicked or hit. Its just something that comes with having them. We'll he got kicked by a calf we ear tagged a couple months ago then a replacement bull we've been raising thats about 22 months old got him while he was putting hay out. Said he got off the tractor and the bull came around snorted at him then next thing he knew he landed on the steering wheel on the tractor

I had some donkeys on my place a few years ago and parked my ATV in the pasture and was walking to my stand about 500 yards away. I get off and one of those dumbarse donkeys starts running towards me then stopping and starting. It ran past me and starting kicking my ATV. Broke the fender and bent the handlebars. He later realized he was not as tough as he thought he was.

Key part of this store is the first 4 words. I HAD some donkeys.
