Most access for archery elk hunting is non motorized entry. Basically bike/hike only. My buddy found a spot in deer season he wanted me to see. Basically a 4+ mile up hill. I got wise and found a road on state land that was close. Went in saturday, busted butt through some nasty hilly stuff and popped out in the magic spot. Came out on a road thats not visible from the state land. New short cut will be a 25 minute walk instead of a 1.5 hour trip. Need 1 more short cut in a new area and we set if our normal sneak spots get found.
