I hope you have em to where they can be covered.

Probably gonna have a frost before long.

What company were the tomato plants- Bonnie, etc.?

God Bless,

Curious, you always plant your okra this early... and have good germination results? Okra usually likes it hot. Needs soil temps in at least the 70s to germinate well. I always plant my okra and melons after everything else. And I am an adherer to old traditions and try to always plant around Good Friday.

If there's any doubt, then there is no doubt... The gut don't never lie.

I don't plant okra till much later, it dosen't like cold wet conditions and will come up great if you wait. I have planted as late as into June and made good okra.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

My uncle use to put his okra seed in a jar of warm water for a few hours before planting. It will start to sprout and will come up quicker.

Plan on planting April 10 th, I plant by the moon signs. The OKRA I plant is cowhorn seed was given to me 15 years from a old timer that said these seed had been passed down in Samantha Al for over 100 years and it will take a light frost had a couple light frost couple times. I have passed these seed along over past 13 years, PS If you happen to drive north on Hiway 43 you will pass the dry hole ranch on left side of road, you will see a 1 acre lake and martin houses that is where I plant okra.

Way cool on the okra seed!! When I plant okra, I plant when it gets hot too...always seemed to do better for me. Never heard of the warm water treatment, interesting!!

I finished up planting for this go around today too.

Be kind to one another and tell the ones you love that you love them often. We never know what tomorrow will bring.

I went to check out Brown's today. I was in shock. Where has this place been all my life? Packs of 3 tomato plants for $0.70. I'm going to need a bigger garden...

We used to soak okra in a chlorox water solution overnight which helps break the seed coat. This makes them come up faster.
