Hello DE17 what part of WA did you come from...got some good friends in Spokane.
Go up every year to elk hunt with them

Hey DE48! Good name!
I was near Tacoma, right alongside the east shore of the Puget Sound. Yes, you're right, there's some good elk hunting over near Spokane. I went out up near Omak once.
I usually looked for my elk around Packwood, which is very near Mount Rainier on its south slopes.
Nothing in the world juicier than elk steaks!
Still I'm glad to be here in Alabama. I've got 8,000 people around me here, as opposed to the 8,000,000 people where I was in Washington. Plus, I can go hog hunting here, which is just about my favorite thing in the world. (I lived in Texas before Washington.) And with the Gulf right here, I can still go fishing.

We go up in the Selkirk mountain range near Canada.
Those mountains are rough on a Alabama Man.
I go elk hunting during ML season when elk/deer season overlap.
Definitely some beautiful country up there
