Only heard one. He gobbled about 15 times and I decided that was enough ! #2 dead by 6:38! Like I said; he gobbled about 15 times on the limb and none on the ground. Just pitched down and strutted to the barrel. Blessed!

Congrats Randy!
I heard one 4 times on the limb and he pitched out towards me. There was another turkey of some kind that flew down with him. He gobbled 4 or 5 times on the ground and I thought I was gonna kill him, but then he gobbled heading down the creek and leaving me. Really hurt my feelings.

I heard one gobbling a mile away on another property. I know we have birds, I just haven't been on them or vice versa. I called up 3 jakes yesterday. This morning was picture perfect and I heard 2.
Our birds on our lease haven't been gobbling much. I'm just going to have to change my game plan and keep hunting. I've usually had the opportunity to break the ice by now. Needless to say, it's just been one of those seasons for me. It's still early. I'm keeping at it.
